Ghost Sightings! Freaky!

Has anyone seen ghost in Curtin before?
The G3 building is rumoured to be a lil 'dirty' tho the ghost never hurt anyone. The most popular story that I've heard so far was where the ghost passed books to a lecturer who was alone in her/his room at nite, doing work!

LT stories are worse. oh my..

i also heard abt this story before. G3 building got many ghost story since long time ago. and heard that some ppl even had bad experience in G3 when night. G3 will be closed at night. students cant even go to lab at night. i dunno now still got open at night or not but last time is closed.

LOL...truth is that there are probably imaginary hallucinations that occur. =\.

If you fear ghost, then even if it's just an animal's cry, you will also think that is the ghost calling out to you. It's basic psychology.

The Psychology of Fear

See, so we can see from this article that it is actually fear itself which makes you cold, and then you think a ghost just went past.

If you don't believe, it won't exist.

But the eyes do not deceive! If you are saying that I saw a black mist in the jungle at night, and assume that it's ghost, then obviously I might be wrong.

But this is the brightly lit G3 we are talking about. If the rumours are true, they are no mere hallucinations. Of cz, I did not experience the sightings first-hand so I cant confirm the info's.

But how about ghost possesion on student? It happened in LT before. The whole class saw that a student was acting very weirdly. The student finally went in front and sort of attempted to strangle the lecturer from the back. So, the whole class was in fear which led them to hallucinate? Or that the 'possesed' student was just playing around?

All I am saying is that you can't just dismiss the notion of ghost existence just like that! You don't believe in the unseen beings, do you, Ripalo?

LOL....not only do I not believe in unseen things. Even seen things, I may not believe. XD.

Reason is, what we see may not be true.

For example, magic is actually "professional trained illusions". People accept magic as illusions, yet they can't believe that ghosts are "self made illusions"?

I won't say that there are no ghosts. There were times when I felt a shiver in my spine walking past G1. It happened like this.

It was Sunday.
I was walking from lakeside to the bus stand so that I could go to town.
I walked past G1.
You know the security department has files covering the windows and stuff right. And right after that was the window for the campus manager. I "thought" I saw a girls head in there. You know how scary it was for me. It was afternoon, but there were no bug noises, there were no bird chirpings. All that was there, was the dead silence.

I was scared, and it kind of occured to me to faster walk away. But it was loads of "Paranormal Activity" kind of movies which got me intrigued. And so I went on and try to see it.

All I saw, was a black curtain swinging and covering the mirror. As to why the black curtain was swinging, I had absolutely no idea. The area was enclosed, and it was impossible for wind to jz blow the curtain from the inside.

Anyway, that solved it. There was no girl. Or either there was, but she disappeared. That we will never know.

What we know is that, the curtain was moving, and the light from the mirror caused me to hallucinate that a girl was there.

Actual reason? I was recalling a story at that time. A story of a lady girl ghost in the ladies toilet of SS. That was why when I saw the moving of the curtain, I thought it was a ghost.

Or was there a ghost?

Key thing is...we never will know.

If you wana know, there are ways. Not the conventional take dogs tears etc...there are other ways....which will be in the next post.

How to spot a ghost tutorial?

I brought up this topic because it's such an interesting topic.

A note of advise first: any future ghost story in here should not be taken too seriously. We dun wan more cases of 'sendiri takutkan sendiri'. hahaha

I'm sure it took u alot of courage to look into the room again. And it was good that u did that, it kinda cleared ur fear abit, I guess.

nah...actually there's this extra one story of people walking at g3 around 2am and continue walking till 6am coz there was no end. =S.

Again...its another story.

But all i know is that i walked peacefully around 2am and feared nothing. That's till I heard abt that story. Since then, I would walk faster when i go past g3. XD

lol, I'm almost graduate but haven't heard about that G3 ghost story before.

I'm always cautious when I'm at G3 area. The lift scares me, I wouldn't wanna use it alone.

Hmm.. next time we shud make frens with the friendlier guards, ask them abt it. Once, my fren and I had to wait at the guard house bcz we forget to bring ID at night. hahahaha Pak Guard kept talking and talking.. haha friendly person.

lol.....g3 lift im okay wor....jz that at night the corridor is so long and the lights blind your eyes to the surrounding landscape. You do not know whats out there waiting for you~~~

lol, that g3 building is nth scare me. I had ever walk alone at the g3 stairs. I never scare abt the ghost unless I saw them. There is nth to scare abt that due to the ghost won't let u see them. If the ghost won't let u see them which mean they won't disturb you. So for me, I never scare abt them even if they are behind me now.

i also havent seen it before at G3. but i heard a lot of story about that place..

really boh....XD.....is it because you have the concept that ghosts are harmless? XD.....

watch paranormal activities first la.......

then imagine the demon pulling ur leg from g3 into the lake...XD....then i will see how scared you become.

don't underestimate ghosts.....u never see them pull ppl be4 doesn't mean they can't. LOL.

Horror movies rake in alot of $$$.

Watching Ghost Adventures on NTV7 (Sun 8.30,sometimes) /youtube would be more reasonable.. No pulling, just slapping. HAHAHAHA

Of course when u r alone at night and scared of ghost, you DO NOT start to think about ghost la. Ignore the fear. Personally, I either ignore or start saying some Hail Mary's.

before paranormal activity was out in the cinemas, one of my friends downloaded it.

Then they watched it on the computer. I just came back from work and joined them like 10 minutes after they started. One of them told me that this was a documentary. They forgot to mention that this was a "fictional" documentary.

So I watched the movie thinking it was real. And coincidentally, that time was 3am in the morning, and the time in the movie when the devil appeared was also 3am.
